Hunahuna Mea Hou – Bits of News from Cyril Pahinui

May 2015 Update

We are very excited to announce the release of:

Watch The Trailer HD

We give it a – SHAKA, Thumbs Up
and hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it!
Special live performance by Ledward Kaapana and Mike Kaawa!

Received in a personal email from Cameron Crowe:

“If we were able to make some small offering in the spirit of the love we felt making the film, then the movie has a place in the world.”

“….I’m happy that I was able to do the climactic final scene of the movie with a Cyril performance -“Ipu Lei Manu”.  Happily this wonderful track is also on the soundtrack album.   Hooray for that.

I hope you enjoy the movie and know that I would love to work with you again in any form.  It was a real joy to film your performance, and as always to use your unforgettable music. Thanks again for everything.   Best to you and the family!!!

Your fan always,
Cameron Crowe
